  4. Defend the land and the people that uphold order.

The Deity of Order and Protection, Dhevos, teaches order is put in place to help protect all. The life after the apocalypse is a difficult one and by protecting one another, abiding by laws, and working together, people and society can once again flourish.
The faithful of Dhevos have visions and dreams of protecting others and themselves. They often see a griffin leading them to difficult situations where they may also see a shield or a double pan scale. They may have tests that require taking up the shield or tests solving puzzles and challenges that require people working together to balance the scale and bring order.

The faith of Dhevos is often found among people focused on building an outpost or a hamlet. Some of the faithful will take it upon themselves to protect such places and offer to maintain order. They have even established small places of worship in these outposts or hamlets to train those who would take up the shield of Dhevos.

The faithful of Dhevos usually train among three paths. The path of the Envoy is the diplomat that will seek new people and information through communications. They will try to diffuse a violent situation before it can turn into bloody chaos such as dissuading roving bandits or marauders. Then there is the path of the Jurist. They are the vigilant eye of the faith. They have a keen understanding of the inner workings and needs of a community. They will often suggest laws or practices. Last, there is the path of the Aegis, who is the defender and enforcer when there is no longer time for words and people face imminent danger. The faithful are not sequestered to only one path. There have been Envoys and Jurists that have also been skilled warriors. Some who become an Envoy or Jurist spend time at one of the Archives of Vesco to learn about the various people and tribes. In return, the faithful of Dhevos have offered protection to some of the Archives. They agree knowledge is needed to help regain order.

Symbol: The Primary symbol is a shield and a double pan scale. The type of shield can vary. Also, the scale may be on the shield or positioned anywhere near it. There can also be a griffin on the shield or a griffin feather on the scale.
