The Deity of Life and Creation, Caga’Ne, calls on us to create, to help others thrive, and do what we must to endure. Creation is not always just about life but that which can improve the quality of life, from a carpenter building a shelter to a smith crafting a sword to defend themselves. There is no denying their gifts bestowed onto
those who are truly faithful and follow their tenets.
The faithful of Caga’Ne have visions and dreams of a figure shrouded in red that always has bloody hands. The reflection of the cruelties of life are seen as the shrouded figure with bloody hands passes by those too grievously injured to be saved and the compassion of life seen as the figure tends to the wounded that can be. Still to others their visions show the same figure patiently crafting with bloody tools and demanding the highest
quality of work. The figure may lead people in the visions with a trail of blood to materials they seek. What may all seem out of kindness the faithful would all agree the voiceless lessons of the strict Deity are sharp and harsh.
Blood is considered the representation of life. The faithful often wear blood red colors. This also allows them to be found when needed. They expect to be called upon by others, though they will decide what will be done. Often many faithful will learn how to heal in some manner, and become acquainted with terrible wounds. The faithful understand that divine spells are not enough to sustain life in all ways or in the worst of conditions. That
is why the Deity of Life is also the Deity of Creation and Crafting. People need professions which can create such things as antidotes, food, armaments, shelter, among many other items. The faithful help their people so they may sustain themselves and life will flourish.
There is one other duty the faithful of Caga’Ne take up among many communities that will put them often at odds with the faithful of the Deity of Death. They have made it their duty to honor the dead. The Faithful of Caga’Ne are very often the last people with the dying. They believe treating the body of the deceased with respect is to honor the memory of their life. They are still pragmatic people and survival is still of the utmost
importance. There may not always be the ability to bury the dead or burn it without risk. Depending on the culture and the need to constantly be on the move the faithful of Caga’Ne may remove a small piece of bone or hair and craft it into a memento for the deceased’s loved ones. Unlike the followers of Death and Destruction, they do not want to speak to those that have passed on. Once the body has been put to rest so should the soul. People should cherish memories and focus on the life before them.
Symbol: The primary symbols are a crafting tool or table. Symbols are red or on a red background.
